The National Association of Clinical Officer Anaesthetists Kenya (NACOA-K) was founded in 2007 and registered on 9th February 2012 under the Societies Act. Its operations are governed by a constitution, with leaders elected during the Annual General Meeting (AGM) every 3 years.

NACOA-K represents anaesthetists across public, private, and faith-based sectors, and welcomes students in Higher Diploma in Anaesthesia as associate members. We work closely with other anaesthesia providers such as the Kenya Society of Anaesthesiologists (KSA) and Kenya Registered Nurse Anaesthetist (KRNA) Chapter.
